Blog post.

Hey there, friends!

First things first: I owe you an apology.

If you noticed there was no February post... you're right. And I'm sorry. Here's what happened: I had the whole thing written. Done. Ready to polish and send. And then my computer decided to eat it. The whole post—gone. Vanished into the digital void like it never existed.

I wish I could tell you I powered through and rewrote it immediately. Instead, I stared at my screen, said a few words I won't repeat here, and walked away. I was too irritated and mentally exhausted to try to remember everything I wanted to share. I told myself I'd come back to it.

Reader, I did not come back to it.

So here we are in late March, and I finally have an update to share. Thanks for your patience and for still being here. Let's get started.

The Books: A Status Report

Right now, I'm juggling two series across two genres, because apparently I enjoy chaos.

The Coming Home Series (Contemporary Romance / Romantic Suspense)

This series follows the five Ellery siblings as they return to their family's Wyoming ranch. Each book is a standalone romance, but the family saga—the healing, the grudges, the slow process of becoming a family again—threads through all of them. It's big feelings, complicated histories, and love stories that don't come easy.

KEAGAN: FINDING THE WAY HOME is available now. If you haven't met Keagan Ellery yet, here's a taste of what you're in for:

“Keagan? I’m scared to come home. What if it doesn’t feel like home anymore? What if we can’t find our way back to each other?”

The question hung in the air, voicing the fear that had been gnawing at him since he’d made the decision to stay in Wyoming. What did it mean to be a family when the person who’d defined them was gone?

“I don’t know, sweetheart. But I guess we’ll find out together.”

After he hung up, Keagan sat in the silence of the kitchen, his hands shaking from the emotional toll. Four phone calls. Four adult children scattered across the country, each carrying their own wounds, all agreeing to come home despite the pain that waited for them here.

CAITLIN: HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS releases in June 2026—and this one wrecked me to write. Caitlin is the eldest Ellery daughter: prickly, guarded, brilliant. She left Wyoming fifteen years ago with secrets she's never told anyone. The man she left behind never stopped wondering why.

"Seems like you're still running away when things get complicated."She froze. Ancient history. That's what she'd convinced herself. Ancient history that didn't matter anymore."This isn't running. This is... strategic retreat.""Funny how those look exactly the same from where I'm standing."

Cameron Alexander has waited fifteen years for answers. He's done being patient.

BRIAR: HOME FIRES BURNING is in drafting now, slated for late summer/fall 2026. Briar is the family documentarian—the one who observes life through a lens instead of living it. And federal park ranger Becca Tait has spent ten years keeping her distance from the charming Ellery, who makes her forget her own rules.

Then someone starts setting fires in protected wilderness—and Becca becomes their next target.

The Canyon Pack Series (Paranormal / Shifter Romance)

Yes, I wrote shifters. No, I can't explain it. These characters showed up fully formed, growling at me until I told their story. The Canyon Pack Series has the same "Love. Danger. Desire. Romance with an edge" vibe you know from my contemporary work—but with pack dynamics, fated mates (with a twist), and heroes who are dangerous in ways that go beyond emotional unavailability.

HOWL AT THE MOON is scheduled for release in late Spring 2026, and it's currently with beta readers. Here's a glimpse of Archie and Jameson:

She'd been told her whole life that wolves mate for life. What no one mentioned was that sometimes, life had other plans.

And if you think a 179-year-old wolf enforcer and a society wife on the run from her cheating husband sounds like chaos? You're right. It absolutely is. (There's also a Maine Coon cat named Charlie who judges everyone, a Pomeranian named Sir Reginald Fluffington IV, and a wolf who communicates in dramatic all-caps internal monologue. I regret nothing.)

SHIFT HAPPENS is outlined and ready to draft, coming Summer/Fall 2026. This one follows Jackson Wolfe—the family screwup, the twin who ran off to Vegas with his brother's girlfriend right before the Wolf/Coyote war—and Serena, the fierce Coyote shifter who wants nothing to do with him.

Too bad his wolf has other ideas.

She walked past him, keeping as much distance as the doorway would allow. It wasn't enough. His scent followed her, wrapping around her like a blanket she hadn't asked for.Her coyote was practically vibrating."Would you calm down?""Would you let me have nice things?""He is not a nice thing. He is a problem.""A pretty problem."

Jackson is going to earn his redemption. Serena is going to make him work for every inch of trust. Together, they're bringing the heat, the humor, and the chaos.

Beyond the Series: Standalone Projects

Because apparently two series weren't enough to keep me busy, I've also been working on a couple of standalone projects.

TIME UNFINISHED is a standalone romantic suspense that's been quietly demanding my attention. It's got all the tension and danger you'd expect from me—but this time, the stakes are international.

Claire Marshall is a DSS agent in Washington, D.C.—competent, controlled, the kind of woman who files her emotions and moves on. Erik Baker is a filmmaker who just witnessed something he was never supposed to see in a country where witnesses don't tend to survive. They haven't spoken in eighteen years. And now his name just landed on her desk.

The thing about a name you spent years not thinking about was that when it appeared in print—bureaucratic, official, not in a memory or a dream but on an actual government intake form—it registered differently than you'd expect. Less like a wound reopening. More like a door you'd thought was locked swinging open on a draft.

Second chances don't usually come wrapped in classified intel and international danger. But Claire and Erik have never done anything the easy way.

And then there's something I'm keeping close to my chest for now: a short story called COMMON GROUNDS that I'm currently shopping around to publications. It's a departure from my usual work—not a romance, and not connected to either of my series—but it's a story that came to me in a dream and demanded to be written. I'll keep you posted as things develop, but for now, fingers crossed, and good vibes appreciated. 🤞

Come See Me in Person!

I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be attending the Winnsboro Festival of Books on Friday and Saturday, May 1-2, 2026!

📍 Winnsboro Center for the Arts 🔗

Stop by my table for:

Signed copies of my latest books

A chance to chat about the series, the characters, or whatever else is on your mind

Maybe a sneak peek or two (if you ask nicely)

I'd love to meet you in person. Come say hi—I promise I'm friendlier than Jameson Wolfe and less prickly than Caitlin Ellery. (The bar is low. I'll clear it.)

The Bottom Line

2026 is shaping up to be a big year. Four books in active production, two series running simultaneously, standalone projects in the works, and more stories lined up behind them. I'm caffeinated, I'm committed, and I'm so damn grateful to have readers who want to come along for the ride.

Thank you for being here—and for not holding February against me. Whether you're a newsletter subscriber, a social media follower, or someone who stumbled across this post by accident—I'm glad you're reading.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have fictional people yelling at me.

Until next time,

Elle 💋

Love. Danger. Desire. Romance with an edge.

Blog post.

Hey there, beautiful reader!

So. 2025.

Can we just take a moment to acknowledge that I've apparently lost my ever-loving mind? Because when I sat down to map out this year, I stared at my whiteboard like a woman who'd had too much coffee and not enough sense.

Four books in active production. Three more lined up and ready to rumble.

I know. I KNOW.

But here's the thing—when the stories won't shut up, you write them. And let me tell you, these characters have been loud.

What's Cooking in the Coming Home Kitchen

The Ellery siblings aren't done with me yet. Not even close. If you loved Keagan's journey back to Wyoming (and based on your messages, some of you really loved watching that man grovel—don't think I didn't notice), then buckle up. Because more Ellerys are coming home, and they're bringing all their baggage, their stubbornness, and their absolute inability to do anything the easy way.

You know. Like family does.

And Then There's the Other Thing...

clears throat

looks around nervously

So I may have written a paranormal romance.

Actually, I may have written the start of a paranormal romance series.

The Canyon Pack Series is currently with beta readers, and I'm not going to lie—I've been stress-eating chocolate and refreshing my email like a feral goblin waiting for feedback. These shifters showed up in my brain uninvited, made themselves comfortable, and refused to leave until I told their story.

It's still Romance With an Edge. Just with... more teeth. 😏

The Bottom Line

This year is going to be a lot. I'm juggling contemporary romance/romantic suspense, AND paranormal shifter romance like a woman who's never heard the word "boundaries."

But I'm so damn excited to share all of it with you.

Stay tuned. Stay caffeinated. And if you see me muttering to myself about fictional people, just smile and nod.

Until next time,
<align-left>

💋 P.S. — Want to be a beta reader for future projects? Hit reply and let me know. I'm always looking for readers who aren't afraid to tell me when something doesn't work. Brutal honesty = my love language.</align-left>

Blog post.

Hi, everybody! It's us! Niall and Kirsten!

Mama said we could help with the blog today because it's almost CHRISTMAS and that's the most exciting time of the whole entire year and we have SO MUCH to tell you about—

Niall. Use your inside voice.

I AM using my inside voice, Kirsten. This is typing. You can't even hear typing.

You're still being loud.

ANYWAY.

Christmas is coming and we are SO EXCITED. We've been helping Gramma Meagan make cookies and Keagan let us help brush the horses and Mama says if we're really, really good, the big guy might bring us something special this year.

Tell them about the decorations.

Oh yeah! The ranch looks SO PRETTY. There's lights EVERYWHERE and a big tree in the main house that's taller than Keagan, and he's really tall. Like, REALLY tall. And there's stockings hung up and Gramma says there might be one more stocking this year—

Niall!

What?

We're not supposed to tell them everything.

But they should KNOW, Kirsten! Christmas is when extraordinary things happen! It's when everything changed for us, remember? When Keagan came home and he and Mama—

NIALL.

You can't say more. Some people might not have read our story yet.

But WHY haven't they read it? The whole book is RIGHT THERE. Available on the Zon and in KU.

The Zon?

That's what Mama calls it. A-M-A-Zon. The Zon.

That's... never mind. The point is, we can't spoil the surprise.

I don't understand why anyone would NOT have read it yet. It has US in it. And Keagan. And HORSES. And there's bad guys who try to do mean things but then the whole town stands up together and—

Niall Murrough Ellery.

Fine. FINE.

But seriously, if you haven't read Keagan: Finding the Way Home yet, you should probably do that. Right now. We'll wait.

We're not actually waiting.

We could wait. I'm very patient.

You're the least patient person I know.

You don't know that many people, Kirsten.

I know enough.

Okay, okay. Kirsten's giving me The Look. You know the one. The one where her eyebrows go all scrunchy and she looks like Gramma when someone tracks mud on her clean floors.

I do not look like that.

You totally do.

Just tell them the nice part.

FINE.

The nice part is that Christmas is almost here, and last year Christmas was really hard because we missed Daddy so much and everything felt all wrong and sad. But this year...

This year feels different.

Good different.

Really good different.

We have a bigger family now. And our family is the BEST. Keagan makes Mama laugh—like, really laugh, the kind where she snorts a little and then pretends she didn't—and Gramma Meagan always has cookies and Grampa Thomas and Gamma Margaret came to visit and they said we'll always be their Murroughs even though we're also Ellerys now—

That's the best part.

It really is.

And Daddy would have liked Keagan.

He would have. Mama said so.

Anyway! We have to go now because it's almost bedtime and Mama says we have to put out cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer and then we have to go to sleep REALLY FAST so the big guy can come.

Niall's been practicing going to sleep fast.

It's a skill, Kirsten!

You've been lying there with your eyes squeezed shut saying "I'm sleeping, I'm sleeping" for the last three nights.

PRACTICE. MAKES. PERFECT.

If you say so.

Merry Christmas from the Ellery Ranch!

Love, Niall (the fun one) and Kirsten (the bossy one)

I'm not bossy. I'm... organized.

Sure, Kirsten. Sure.

...I can hear you rolling your eyes.

Can not. Eyes don't make sounds.

Yours do.

💕 🎄 💕

P.S. — Seriously, go buy the book. Keagan worked really hard and Mama says supporting authors is important.

P.P.S. — COOKIES FOR SANTA!!!

Niall, that's not how you end a blog post

IT IS NOW! BYE!!!

Happy Holidays, everyone. And from all of us at the Double E... we hope you find your way home too. 🏠✨

I have fibromyalgia, and today started as a high-pain day. This has absolutely nothing to do with the story I'm about to tell you, other than to explain why I was still horizontal at almost 11 a.m. on a Sunday morning like some kind of human sloth in fuzzy socks.

After I'd taken my gabapentin and chased it with what I call "the pain combo" (acetaminophen and ibuprofen—not medical advice, just desperation), I finally shuffled into the living room, where I discovered my husband had apparently been left unsupervised for far too long.

People always joke that women talk too much about things that have no concern to the listener. Well. That happened to me today. Except it was my husband.

I'm convinced the man has a minimum word quota he must meet each day, and it was painfully evident he'd fallen behind on his deliveries. Since he couldn't get started expelling these words to anyone who might listen—or might allow him to think they were listening—he'd spent those extra hours trolling the depths of the internet for the oddest possible topics.

Today's obsession? Building a geothermal cold box room. Or possibly an outdoor root cellar. Here. At our home. In East Texas.

In. Minute. Detail.

Now, you might think a root cellar is a reasonable idea. It allows you to store canned goods from your garden so you can enjoy fresh flavors year-round. A cold box room would be helpful for storing meat that's been butchered from a hunt or from livestock you've raised.

Those are excellent reasons.

But hear me out.

My husband does not hunt. Has never hunted. The closest he's ever come to hunting is deciding which packet of meat to select from the grocery store cooler. (The chicken or the beef? The stakes have never been higher.)

As for the garden... well. The man has not successfully grown a single thing to date.

Actually, wait. I take that back. He did take a few sprouted potatoes and shove them into one of my flower barrels. And then promptly forgot they existed. That last part may have been the key to their success—benign neglect as a gardening strategy. But the peppers? Dead. Tomatoes? Gone. Beans, peas, cucumbers? You get the picture. Our backyard is basically a vegetable hospice.

So my question—which was apparently the wrong one—was simply: "Why?"

Turns out, "why" is the reset word.

The words ceased. The explanations stopped immediately. And he got up and left the room.

Blessed silence.

At least until the football game came on. The Bengals/Bills game, being a snow game, has since redirected his attention, and therefore, the daily word quota is once again in play. He's currently narrating every tackle to me as if I have both interest and investment in the outcome.

Oh well. It was a nice fifteen minutes.

How are you spending your Sunday?

Well, friends, we made it through Thanksgiving weekend, and if you're anything like me, you're still working through the leftovers while wondering where the time went.

I'll be honest with you—I had grand plans for the long holiday weekend. Extra days off from the "day job" meant extra writing time, right?

That would be a big, resounding no.

Between cooking, eating, football games, more eating, movie marathons, family time, and—did I mention eating?—I stepped away from Book Two and gave the Ellerys a well-deserved break. Sometimes you have to refill the creative well, and mine needed some serious replenishing. Now that we're back to a typical week, I'm happy to report that Caitlin and Cameron's story is coming along nicely. These two have been living in my head for a while now, and watching their second-chance romance unfold on the page has been everything I hoped it would be.

A Note to My Fellow Writers

Speaking of Book Two, can I share something I wish someone had told me when I started this journey? Keep better notes. I'm talking detailed notes—community names, dates, timelines, character details, all of it. Because here I am, researching my own book to make sure I'm not contradicting myself. Did I say the diner was on Main Street or First Avenue? Was that scene set in September or October?

Lesson learned. This time around, I'm keeping a detailed log of everything. Future Elle will thank Present Elle for this small act of organizational kindness.

Our Holiday Traditions

My family has always spent the Sunday after Thanksgiving putting up our Christmas tree and decorating the house. It's become one of my favorite traditions—we make spaghetti with meat sauce (my daughter's favorite since she was little), then break out the hot cocoa and Rice Krispies treats, queue up Miracle on 34th Street and White Christmas, and settle in for a movie marathon while the house transforms around us.

There's something magical about those moments, isn't there? The ones where time slows down just enough to remind you what really matters.

I Want to Hear from You!

How did you spend your holiday weekend (for those who celebrate Thanksgiving)? Were there any Black Friday deals you couldn't resist? And as we head into December, what traditions does your family hold dear?

However you spent the weekend, and whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, another holiday, or none at all—I hope your December is filled with the love of family and friends and that you're preparing for a most wonderful 2026.

Until next time,
<align-left>

</align-left>

Blog post.

Here's what no one tells you when you're writing your first novel: finishing the manuscript is just the beginning. In fact, it might be the easiest part of this whole beautiful, chaotic journey.

I'm not saying writing a book is easy—anyone who's stared down a blank page at 2 AM knows better. But there's a lovely simplicity to it—you, your characters, and the story unfolding between you. The rules are yours to make, the timeline yours to control, and the only person you need to convince is yourself.

Then you type "The End," and suddenly you're standing at the edge of a cliff you didn't know existed.

Because now? Now comes the real work: getting your book into the hands of readers who will love it.

The Algorithm Won't Help You (Until It Does)

Let's talk about the elephant in the room—or rather, the algorithm in the cloud. Amazon, Goodreads, and every other platform where readers discover books run on mysterious formulas that decide which books get visibility and which ones disappear into the digital void. They're not being cruel; they're being practical. These sites host millions of books, and they need ways to surface the ones readers actually want.

But here's the catch: the algorithm won't help you until you prove you don't need it.

Want Amazon to recommend your book? You need reviews. Want to get reviews? You need readers. Want to get readers? You need visibility. Want visibility? Well, that's where the algorithm comes in. See the problem?

It's like trying to get your first job when every posting requires five years of experience. Someone has to be willing to take a chance on you first.

From Potential to Actual: The Conversion Game

So how do we break into this circular logic? How do we turn potential readers—people who might love our book—into actual readers who are holding it in their hands (or on their Kindles)?

We hustle. We get creative. We show up.

We build author websites and write blog posts like this one. We craft social media content that gives readers a reason to care about us before they care about our book. We reach out to book bloggers, send review copies to beta readers, and pray someone connects with our story enough to tell their friends about it.

We host giveaways, plan launch events, and explore every marketing avenue from Facebook ads to standing at farmers' markets with bookmarks in hand. We write newsletters to the twelve people on our email list like they're the most important audience in the world—because they are.

Every single reader matters when you're trying to move the needle. Five reviews become ten. Ten become twenty-five. Twenty-five reviews might finally be enough for that algorithm to whisper your name to someone browsing for their next read.

It's slow. It's humbling. And it requires a level of shameless self-promotion that makes most writers deeply uncomfortable. We became writers because we love words, not because we love marketing ourselves. But this is the gig. If we want readers, we have to go find them.

The Juggling Act

And while we're doing all of this—learning book marketing, managing social media, tracking sales numbers, and begging for reviews—there's something else happening in the background.

We're writing the next book.

Because readers who fall in love with one story will want another. Because the best marketing strategy for book one is releasing book two. And because if we're honest, our creative souls need it. That muse that got us through the first manuscript doesn't just sit quietly while we play marketer. She's already whispering about the next character, the next story, the next world that needs to exist.

So we write in the margins. Early mornings before the marketing tasks begin. Late nights after the social media posts are scheduled. Stolen hours on weekends when we should probably be doing something else.

It's exhausting. It's exhilarating. It's absolutely chaotic.

But here's what I'm learning: this chaos is part of the creative life. The juggling isn't a distraction from being an author—it is being an author in today's publishing world. We're not just storytellers anymore. We're entrepreneurs, marketers, community builders, and yes, still writers burning through midnight oil to get the next story down.

Welcome to the Beautiful Chaos

If you're a reader who stumbled across this post, thank you for being here. Thank you for being someone an author is trying to reach. Every time you leave a review, recommend a book to a friend, or take a chance on an unknown author, you're helping move that needle. You're helping break that algorithm's stranglehold. You're changing someone's life.

If you're a fellow author in the trenches, I see you. I know you're tired. I know you're wondering if any of this matters, if anyone will ever read your words, if you're doing enough.

You are. Keep going. Keep writing. Keep showing up.

Because somewhere out there is a reader who needs the exact story only you can tell. Our job is to make sure they can find it.

Welcome to the beautiful chaos. Pour yourself some coffee (or wine, depending on the time of day), fire up that laptop, and let's get back to work.

We've got books to launch and stories to write.

Want to be part of my journey? Sign up for my newsletter for updates on new releases, behind-the-scenes chaos, and maybe some Wyoming ranch wisdom along the way.
<align-center>

</align-center>

After months of living with these characters, walking beside them through grief and healing, watching them face threats that could destroy everything they love, and discovering that the courage to come home is stronger than the fear of what it might cost—I'm thrilled to share that Keagan: Finding the Way Home is now available as an ebook on Amazon Kindle and Kindle Unlimited.

This story has been a journey for me as much as for the Ellery siblings. What started as whispers from my muse became a story about family legacy, second chances, and the kind of love worth fighting for. About an architect who built monuments to his independence only to discover that success without connection is just another word for exile. About a widow and her children who teach him that hearts are elastic enough to hold multiple truths—that honoring the past doesn't mean closing the door on the future.

But coming home isn't simple when corporate developers threaten to destroy the ranch that's been in your family for generations. When the woman you're falling for and her children become targets. When you have to decide whether protecting the people you love means walking away—or standing your ground no matter the cost.

If you've been waiting to walk the Wyoming landscape with Keagan and Shani, to meet Niall and Kirsten, to discover whether love and community can stand against powerful enemies determined to take what isn't theirs—today is the day.

The ebook is available now on My Website.

Amazon, Amazon Kindle and Kindle Unlimited!
<align-center>

</align-center>

Blog post.

There's something about creativity that defies logic, that resists the careful planning and strategic thinking that serves us well in every other area of life. I spent years in brand strategy, building campaigns and managing projects with the kind of precision that comes from understanding exactly what outcome you're working toward. Then I found myself unemployed after eight years of loyalty, updating my resume for the hundredth time, when a voice I'd been ignoring for decades finally grew too persistent to dismiss.

Writers often talk about their muse as though she's a separate entity, and I've come to believe there's truth in that. Mine arrived not with gentle whispers but with fully formed characters who had stories they needed told. She didn't care that I had no experience writing fiction, that I'd never taken a creative writing class, that the most imaginative thing I'd written was marketing copy about nurse recruitment.

"What if there was an architect who had to return home to save his family's ranch?" she asked one Tuesday morning.

"What if he had siblings, each one carrying wounds that drove them away, and they all had to come home and face what they'd been running from?"

By the time I acknowledged she wasn't going away, I had notebooks filled with fragments of conversations between people I'd never met, scenes that played out like movies in my mind, entire worlds waiting to be written.

I approached writing the way I'd approached everything else in my professional life—with structure, planning, and determination to do it properly. I studied story arcs and character development. I created detailed outlines with carefully plotted chapter sequences. I researched Wyoming ranching with the thoroughness of someone building a marketing campaign.

My muse found this approach amusing.

Four complete rewrites into my meticulously planned story, Keagan Ellery decided he wasn't just coming home for his father's funeral—he was staying indefinitely to fight a corporate land grab that threatened everything his family had built. Shani Murrough refused to be a simple love interest; she emerged as a complex woman with her own business, her own fierce independence, and her own complicated relationship with loss and new beginnings.

The twins weren't supposed to exist at all. My outline called for "a child"—one generic presence to activate Keagan's protective instincts. Instead, my muse handed me Niall and Kirsten, two distinct personalities with their own wisdom about grief and family, their own ways of understanding the adults around them were healing too.

"But that's not the plan," I told my laptop at two in the morning, as though my characters might suddenly decide to cooperate with my outline.

They ignored me completely and kept living their own lives, making their own choices, falling in love in ways that were messier and more real than anything I'd plotted.

The Henderson Development storyline started as a neighbor looking to cash in on the father's death with all of his children estranged, and then POOF! Suddenly, my simple homecoming romance had become a story about community resistance, about the power of people who refuse to be intimidated, about the courage required to fight for what matters even when the odds seem impossible.

"This is why the twins needed to be older," my muse explained as I frantically rewrote scenes to accommodate this unexpected plot development. "Children understand justice in ways adults forget. They're going to be crucial for the emotional climax."

She was right. She's always right, which is both inspiring and occasionally infuriating.

This creative partnership means I never know when inspiration will arrive with demands that change everything. I'll be watching television, and suddenly I'm typing a conversation between Cameron and Caitlin that reveals the devastating secret at the heart of book two. I'll be falling asleep when she whispers the perfect ending for Rory's story, the environmental romance that will challenge everything he thinks he knows about protecting the land he loves.

Working on Caitlin's book has been particularly intense because my muse is deeply invested in second-chance romance. She had me awake at four in the morning, capturing the exact words Caitlin needs to say when she finally tells Cameron about the miscarriage that drove her away fifteen years ago.

"But I haven't written that scene yet," I mumbled into my pillow.

"You will," she replied. "And when you do, you'll understand why I needed you to dream her exact words first. Trust the process."

I've learned that "trust the process" is her favorite phrase, usually delivered when she's asking me to write something that terrifies me. The grief scenes that had me sobbing at my keyboard. The confrontation that will either heal or destroy. The family Christmas that shows all the Ellery siblings finally home and whole, choosing each other despite everything.

"Trust the process," she insists when I worry that readers won't connect with characters who make imperfect choices, when I second-guess emotional scenes that feel too raw, too much like my own heart on the page.

She's never steered me wrong, even when she's steered me away from careful plans and into territory I never expected to explore.

The Coming Home series exists because my muse understood something I didn't: the best love stories aren't just about two people finding each other. They're about entire families learning to love well, about communities that choose to support each other through impossible challenges, about the courage required to come home to yourself after years of trying to be someone else.

Each Ellery sibling's story will challenge me differently because my muse has different plans for each of them. Briar's artistic soul needs healing through creative partnership. Rory's environmental passion needs to be grounded in personal relationships. Croía's generous heart needs protection from those who would take advantage of her willingness to give everything.

I wonder sometimes if other creatives experience this—moments when ideas arrive fully formed, like gifts from some invisible source. When solutions appear not through logic but through surrender to something larger than our careful planning. The relationship between writer and muse is one of the most mysterious parts of this work, but it's also the most magical.

Keagan: Finding the Way Home has just been released, so grab your copy here or keep an eye out for it at your favorite retailer. It's everything my muse promised it would be—a story about coming home to love, family, and the courage to fight for what matters. Caitlin: Home is Where the Heart Is will follow in the new year, and I can promise my muse has plans for that book that will leave you breathless.

If you're curious about the midnight inspirations and behind-the-scenes moments when my muse decides to rearrange my entire writing schedule, follow me on social media. Sometimes the best stories are about the stories behind the stories—about the invisible partnerships that turn careful plans into something far more real than we could have imagined alone.

<align-center>

</align-center>
