What's Brewing in 2026 (And Where to Find Me!)

Hey there, friends!

First things first: I owe you an apology.

If you noticed there was no February post... you're right. And I'm sorry. Here's what happened: I had the whole thing written. Done. Ready to polish and send. And then my computer decided to eat it. The whole post—gone. Vanished into the digital void like it never existed.

I wish I could tell you I powered through and rewrote it immediately. Instead, I stared at my screen, said a few words I won't repeat here, and walked away. I was too irritated and mentally exhausted to try to remember everything I wanted to share. I told myself I'd come back to it.

Reader, I did not come back to it.

So here we are in late March, and I finally have an update to share. Thanks for your patience and for still being here. Let's get started.

The Books: A Status Report

Right now, I'm juggling two series across two genres, because apparently I enjoy chaos.

The Coming Home Series (Contemporary Romance / Romantic Suspense)

This series follows the five Ellery siblings as they return to their family's Wyoming ranch. Each book is a standalone romance, but the family saga—the healing, the grudges, the slow process of becoming a family again—threads through all of them. It's big feelings, complicated histories, and love stories that don't come easy.

KEAGAN: FINDING THE WAY HOME is available now. If you haven't met Keagan Ellery yet, here's a taste of what you're in for:

“Keagan? I’m scared to come home. What if it doesn’t feel like home anymore? What if we can’t find our way back to each other?”

The question hung in the air, voicing the fear that had been gnawing at him since he’d made the decision to stay in Wyoming. What did it mean to be a family when the person who’d defined them was gone?

“I don’t know, sweetheart. But I guess we’ll find out together.”

After he hung up, Keagan sat in the silence of the kitchen, his hands shaking from the emotional toll. Four phone calls. Four adult children scattered across the country, each carrying their own wounds, all agreeing to come home despite the pain that waited for them here.

CAITLIN: HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS releases in June 2026—and this one wrecked me to write. Caitlin is the eldest Ellery daughter: prickly, guarded, brilliant. She left Wyoming fifteen years ago with secrets she's never told anyone. The man she left behind never stopped wondering why.

"Seems like you're still running away when things get complicated."She froze. Ancient history. That's what she'd convinced herself. Ancient history that didn't matter anymore."This isn't running. This is... strategic retreat.""Funny how those look exactly the same from where I'm standing."

Cameron Alexander has waited fifteen years for answers. He's done being patient.

BRIAR: HOME FIRES BURNING is in drafting now, slated for late summer/fall 2026. Briar is the family documentarian—the one who observes life through a lens instead of living it. And federal park ranger Becca Tait has spent ten years keeping her distance from the charming Ellery, who makes her forget her own rules.

Then someone starts setting fires in protected wilderness—and Becca becomes their next target.

The Canyon Pack Series (Paranormal / Shifter Romance)

Yes, I wrote shifters. No, I can't explain it. These characters showed up fully formed, growling at me until I told their story. The Canyon Pack Series has the same "Love. Danger. Desire. Romance with an edge" vibe you know from my contemporary work—but with pack dynamics, fated mates (with a twist), and heroes who are dangerous in ways that go beyond emotional unavailability.

HOWL AT THE MOON is scheduled for release in late Spring 2026, and it's currently with beta readers. Here's a glimpse of Archie and Jameson:

She'd been told her whole life that wolves mate for life. What no one mentioned was that sometimes, life had other plans.

And if you think a 179-year-old wolf enforcer and a society wife on the run from her cheating husband sounds like chaos? You're right. It absolutely is. (There's also a Maine Coon cat named Charlie who judges everyone, a Pomeranian named Sir Reginald Fluffington IV, and a wolf who communicates in dramatic all-caps internal monologue. I regret nothing.)

SHIFT HAPPENS is outlined and ready to draft, coming Summer/Fall 2026. This one follows Jackson Wolfe—the family screwup, the twin who ran off to Vegas with his brother's girlfriend right before the Wolf/Coyote war—and Serena, the fierce Coyote shifter who wants nothing to do with him.

Too bad his wolf has other ideas.

She walked past him, keeping as much distance as the doorway would allow. It wasn't enough. His scent followed her, wrapping around her like a blanket she hadn't asked for.Her coyote was practically vibrating."Would you calm down?""Would you let me have nice things?""He is not a nice thing. He is a problem.""A pretty problem."

Jackson is going to earn his redemption. Serena is going to make him work for every inch of trust. Together, they're bringing the heat, the humor, and the chaos.

Beyond the Series: Standalone Projects

Because apparently two series weren't enough to keep me busy, I've also been working on a couple of standalone projects.

TIME UNFINISHED is a standalone romantic suspense that's been quietly demanding my attention. It's got all the tension and danger you'd expect from me—but this time, the stakes are international.

Claire Marshall is a DSS agent in Washington, D.C.—competent, controlled, the kind of woman who files her emotions and moves on. Erik Baker is a filmmaker who just witnessed something he was never supposed to see in a country where witnesses don't tend to survive. They haven't spoken in eighteen years. And now his name just landed on her desk.

The thing about a name you spent years not thinking about was that when it appeared in print—bureaucratic, official, not in a memory or a dream but on an actual government intake form—it registered differently than you'd expect. Less like a wound reopening. More like a door you'd thought was locked swinging open on a draft.

Second chances don't usually come wrapped in classified intel and international danger. But Claire and Erik have never done anything the easy way.

And then there's something I'm keeping close to my chest for now: a short story called COMMON GROUNDS that I'm currently shopping around to publications. It's a departure from my usual work—not a romance, and not connected to either of my series—but it's a story that came to me in a dream and demanded to be written. I'll keep you posted as things develop, but for now, fingers crossed, and good vibes appreciated. 🤞

Come See Me in Person!

I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be attending the Winnsboro Festival of Books on Friday and Saturday, May 1-2, 2026!

📍 Winnsboro Center for the Arts 🔗

Stop by my table for:

  • Signed copies of my latest books
  • A chance to chat about the series, the characters, or whatever else is on your mind
  • Maybe a sneak peek or two (if you ask nicely)

I'd love to meet you in person. Come say hi—I promise I'm friendlier than Jameson Wolfe and less prickly than Caitlin Ellery. (The bar is low. I'll clear it.)

The Bottom Line

2026 is shaping up to be a big year. Four books in active production, two series running simultaneously, standalone projects in the works, and more stories lined up behind them. I'm caffeinated, I'm committed, and I'm so damn grateful to have readers who want to come along for the ride.

Thank you for being here—and for not holding February against me. Whether you're a newsletter subscriber, a social media follower, or someone who stumbled across this post by accident—I'm glad you're reading.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have fictional people yelling at me.

Until next time,

Elle 💋

Love. Danger. Desire. Romance with an edge.
